OT: Oh geez, dare I dream again?

save ur time jeckle. I just applied and am the favorite for the gig.
Igor, I heartily encourage you to take yourself in a manly fashion. Seriously dude, eat a giant bag of male genitalia.

Also, I didn't wind up applying. I know I should have, but I wasn't confident enough in my resume/application since it's been so long since I've really worked on it, and I decided a bird in the hand, and so forth, with my current job. I'll keep my eyes open for future jobs at SU though.

I am disappointed Mr. Jeckle. I was looking forward to blaming you when things went awry.

Syracuse Cross Country Should Dominate but Won't*
By Igor

Martin Hehir will be one of Syracuse's top performers this year. He finished in third place at both the ACC Championship and NCAA Northeast Regional to help the team win both titles. During the indoor track season he set two school records in the mile and 3,000-meter run and became Syracuse's first-ever ACC Individual Champion in the outdoor season, winning the 10,000-meter race. The cross country team looks tough but other teams' fear only lasts until the opposing coaches say "They are afraid of you. That's why they tavern league run on you." Coach Fox has World Dominating Runners, sure they look great in the early season beating cupcakes but,...

Oh, I'm sure you're their favorite. Let's see, the deadline to apply was Friday August 8, and you "just applied" on August 19 ...

The athletic communications industry is a pretty tight-knit group, if I recall. Even though you didn't apply (sounds like you were overqualified anyway), you should probably find a way to cross paths with Sue or someone so you can get the inside track next time around.

It would have been good to have you in that position, Jekelish. Here's hoping another opportunity comes along for you
