Sitting here watching shy practice... Looks to be running near full speed. Interesting what they are doing I will let you know right before the game what they are doing. But I like it.

You must either work for ESPN or listen to them a lot because that sir is a "tease". Glad to see he is doing well.

I was curious do you guys watch a lot of the Cuse games? I'm sure there are practice's and training but I was wondering if you catch a lot of them?

We have caught almost all of the games this year. Lol didn't really see it as a tease there but now that you mention it I guess it was. Just don't want to put anything out on the Internet yet that the Friday opponent could get a hold of. Big change this week though.

20 minutes till game time... I guess they can't change much now. Shy will be plAying his future position starting tonite as out side linebacker. Covering their d1 commit tight end and kits of blitzing should be a fun night
Can't wait to read all about how the new position as well as the match-up went!

Sorry been super busy at work today I will get the update to the game up soon just haven't had time to watch the film and do highlights today... I will as soon as I can

Jeez ok! I can't get hudl to work today so I can't post the 60 yard run video. But the game was both good and bad. They did lose and are knocked out of the playoffs. Probably better off at this point they lost there #1 corner to a broken ankle last week. Lost their 1 and 2 centers and will be starting a freshman center next week. The middle linebacker who took Shy's spot as he moved to the will broke his foot and they have a freshman to back him up. Even if they had won the injuries would have killed them going against the top teams. So back to shy he had 125 yards 1 10 yard reception and 10 tackles and a knockdown. The other team out coached lowell last night. The star tight end shy was to cover was put in only to block shy he had 1 reception all night and got thaton a play shy was blitzing. They planned their whole game around a kid I have never heard of before and lowell had no answers for the sweep he was running. All of shy's tackles were made either in the back field or from chasing him down from behind. The other team put the tight end on shy who I was pretty happy with shy's performance against. Shy sprained his other ankle early in the game and his toe on his other foot was still bothering him. He also broke his hand again last night but despite all that did a decent job getting around the 6'7 240 lb tight end. They got rid of the ball quick last night so there wasn't alot of time for sacks I believe the team only had 3 last night which is pretty low for them. Once the middle line backer was out they ran right at the freshman and when they shifted shy back to middle they ran the sweep to the freshman side again. So the next four weeks are non playoff games just for fun. So shy's plan is to go enjoy his time he has left with his friends and get ready for syracuse next year. I will get the video up when hudl starts working again

Game 8 in the books a painful one to watch. Lowell has been decimated by injuries in the last two games lose today to a horrible team. 28 to 7 was the final. Shy had 105 yards one touchdown 1 sack and 8 tackles tonite. The lowell coaches are completely blowing the play calls. Defense coverage is wrong 75% of the plays and the offense is running 5 plays. Can you tell I'm frustrated? Can't wait till next year at this point... Just hoping they don't get him killed.

Hang tough Bam. The season is almost over. Shy is going to be fine and he will get to Cuse before you know it.

Last night I was waiting for Shy to get out of practice and was talking to one if his teachers. He said it was amazing the 360 in shy's school work since the iep and meds for add. It got me to thinking about the very real fact that shy could be eligible on time and be heading away in June to syracuse. I started looking at the roster for linebackers and commits and offers they expect to join syracuse. I picked Shy up and was talking to him about the very real possibilities and the need for him to go to camp in the best shape of his life. If he wants to compete for a job it's a whole different world than the last three years of it being a for gone conclusion he had the starting job. We mapped out a work out plan for the next 6 months. Coach Lea told us during the visits I the FSU game he didn't want shy to gain much more size and to concentrate on speed. Shy has grown and is just over 6 1 now. I expect he will hit campus at 6 2. That will give him more weight automatically but this off season between track and working out we will be concentrating on leg workouts. Shy has pretty big legs now but they will gain size with this workout. I expect him to weight between 220 and 225 for June. We will be working on a ton of polymetrics vertical leap and broad jump. Shy will be talking to his track coach about taking a few weeks off from running and will concentrate on throwing for the first month of the season. We want his turf toe completly healed before he starts running after the football season is over. Shy will again compete in almost all track events this year. Off season diet has been worked out by his personal trainer and we are looking forward to him being in the best shape of his life.

I forget does Shy throw discus also. LOL we can have the discus throwing team of Andrejas, Evan and Shy. ;)

Bam the next time you see the teacher tell him he needs to go back to school .. if Shy did a 360 he'd be right back where he started. I always prefer a 180 in those scenarios :)

Lol I didn't even think of that when he said it. I think he was just trying to emphasize a big change and got excited. Plus it was history what do they know about geometry

After what I have been seeing out of the public school system they don't seem to know much about that either ...

Updated the highlights yesterday. At this point the ones I pick are less for scouts to see and more for what I enjoy seeing when watching shy play. He had about 12 tackles with 4 tackles for loss Friday. Most of the highlights I chose this week were ones that made me laugh. The kids would be running full speed and he would step in front of them to make the tackle And just stop them dead in their tracks. He had a good 20 yard run where he broke a bunch of tackles but at this pint his team is just decimated. They only have one of their original starting lineman left and the oline was a problem when the starters were healthy. Down 2 recievers and corners. Most of the team around Nic and shy are jv kids. The other teams are just avoiding the linebackers are just killing lowell. Tough year to watch. Feel bad for shy and Nic their senior season isn't what it should have been. Like I said last week now it's all about getting prepped to play at cuse next year. Oh he did say he felt more comfortable in his sat yesterday and is already signed up to take it again and the act.
