The way Lebron handled announcing his departure was even more petty.
Fun to see them lose last night, after all of the predictably over-the-top hype.
It's still the Spurs's league.

Yeah for sure Lebron didn't handle it the best. But Gilbert was still way over the top, and the fans were pretty crazy about it too. Seems like Nike has been able to erase all of that from history.
Spurs have to be the favorite, the only reason not to take them as the favorite over Cleveland would just be that it would be so much tougher to get out of the west than the east. But with the Westbrook injury last night, it's possible OKC may not even make the playoffs. Still think the Cavs are one big guy away. They have to go to Chicago tonight, 0-2 is a serious possibility. (then again, after how bad Lebron was last night, I wouldn't be surprised if he has a monster game tonight)

I'm not a Lebron fan but this is an example of what Nike does best... making d@man good commercials. I saw that last night and thought to myself, ugh (Lebron again), but man, that was good. Although I did nearly thrown up in my mouth when he started talking in the huddle about owing it to Cleveland, giving back to them and it's all about the city... like he's such a loyal guy. I know it's just a commercial, but let's be real here. Lebron clearly plays for Lebron. Nothing wrong with that but that's the reality.

I think if Rose gets back to say 85% of his MVP form that the Cavs will have a very hard time beating Chicago in the playoffs. The Cavs will be a scary offensive team once things come together for them but they aren't that big upfront and its doubtful they will be a good defensive team. Chicago has size in spades right now with Noah, Gibson and Gasol plus they are going to be excellent on defense especially when Butler comes back and Gasol learns the system. Still likely Gasol will not be in the games down the stretch in the playoffs as the Gibson/Noah combo is very tough on D.

they have to be incredible at making commercials to get you to pay 200 dollars for shoes that are about equal in quality to those you get from target brand cherokees, let alone if you splurge and get masinos
