How do you think SU will finish 2015? I'm thinking like 2-10. Win over Rhode Island and Central Michigan. Heavy losses for the other 10. I hope I'm wrong.

Heavy losses? C'mon.

My prediction is that most fans will get through the season. Some will be excited that we're competitive, some will flip out after each game - win or lose, some will convince themselves we'll do no better than 2-10 and move on to basketball. The team will do better than the fans, winning enough to become bowl eligible but not enough to gloat much.

I'm most definitely not a troll. I am a life long fan that loves the cuse but has some reservations about the talent level.

Maybe 2-10 is a bit pessimistic, I'd love to see a 6-6 season. Just looking at the schedule I see 5 probable losses.
LSU
FSU
BC
Pitt
L'ville
Clemson

If SU comes out strong with everything working well, I could see them beating Pitt and BC. I would love to see a 6-6 season. I'll revise my prediction to 4-8, maybe 5-7, optimistically 6-6.

5-7. Shafer barely makes it out alive. But youth on defense and young playmakers on O force Coyle to give HCSS one more shot.

7-6 or 8-5 is my prediction.

Predicted Losses
LSU
Clempson
FSU
Louisville

Predicted Wins
RI
USF
C Michigan
Wake
NC State

Toss up of which I think we win at least 2:
Pitt
BC
UVA

It all depends on the start. If we can start out 3-1, I think we'll have a shot at making a bowl at 6-6. Start 2-2 or worse, I don't think there's much hope at all. The question here is if we don't make a bowl game and go 5-7 or worse, what will be the future of HCSS as our head coach? IMO, if we don't go bowling he'll be gone because you're going to have to extend HCSS after this year because he will then be a lame duck in recruiting and a new AD that will want his stamp on the program and his own guy most likely won't want to do that. So I see it playing out 2 ways. We go 3-1 in the first 4 and go 6-6, get to a bowl and Shafer will more than likely be extended. We don't start out great, go 2-2 or worse in the first 4, finish 5-7 or worse, Shafer will more than likely be shown the door and Coyle will bring in his guy that he thinks will be the long-term answer here.

Start 4-1, then go 1-4, then toss up last two

Gut says 5-7
Heart says 7-5
