Game of Thrones - Season 6

We learn that he hasn't left yet and that Emelia Çkar as Danny is still "super hot"in both ways of being HOT. I have to think that the "Red Lady" meets her end by Brienne's sword!
Good to see the Hell-Hath-No-Fury version of Khaleesi back. The Dothraki and Unsullied would make quite a military force if it comes to fruition.

It's been years since we had something to cheer for. Seriously not since Dany got the Unsullied? There have been awesome moments but no great triumphs. Now we got two in one episode.

Two Starks together. Hopefully we get to see Sansa cut off little Ramsay and send it to Theon before feeding him to Ghost.

I also look forward to the High Sparrow to get his comeuppance...either a slow and painful death or being proven to be the fraud that he certainly is.

Edit: also the brother sister reunions with all the sisters yelling at their brothers to man the was an cool touch.

I didn't see the preview before this weeks episode, but from here I gathered that Sansa and Jon Snow were to miss each other at Castle Black and I was little bummed, so when they didn't, I have to say...I was pretty pumped. there has been so much stage setting and separate story lines recently, so it was refreshing to have it finally seem like you can see it all coming together and moving towards an end.

They have lined up all the pieces for a terrific season AGAINClearly red beard and Brienne are going to bump uglies.

Hold the door.:(
The actor who plays Hodor is very happy that his character was killed and how he likely died. I think it was clever that his name was that excelmation "hold the door"

I would be shocked if we don't see Hodor again as part of the Army of the Dead.

A possibility but if he is truly gone I think its time for Bran ty join him. The character was a synpathyline but he should have been gone by now.Sansa Brienne and Jon are the big story along with my favorite Arya

I picked up the season 5 bluray set after catching a few random episodes on HBO, burning through it to get ready. Maybe because it comes on the heels of a TWD finale that left a bad taste in my mouth but I am really psyched for this return. Also for this season I will not need to make my spoiler free edition of this thread. :p

Despite whatever HBO says I'm not buying the Jon Snow is dead bit. Some iteration of him will be back, Jon Stark perhaps? He faithfully served the Watch until his death, so he is free man now. Hopefully after some sort of ceremony that requires Melissandre to be naked.
Melissandre's boob are out there too much. How about Sansagetting her shot in a nudie scene?

Bwahahahahaha to everyone who wants to see Melisandre nekkid the rest of the season. I hope you get your wish...she's really a crusty old hag. Hahahahaha.

Upon watching the end of the premiere of GOT season 6, Bernie Sanders was quoted as saying, "You know, I'm finally seeing what all the hubub is for regarding that lady in red."
So I guess Bernie is a certified DOMZDirty old man

Now that JonSansa Brienne and Melissandre are off to fight the bad guys I'm sure that she will be seen naked again.BUT last night show was horribly slow and lacked the spark that made this show over the top great. Maybe next week's episode will change this.

I think that Sansa won't be included in the boobie parade along with Margery (sic).

Alot happened though:
- Uncle Benjen made his long-awaited return (and killed a slew of walkers in the only real action sequence for this episode);
- Arya left the faceless ones and has a duel to the death with the waif coming soon (needle vs staff);
- After an awkward dinner, Sam now has a sword that can kill white walkers;
- The religious zealots have effectively taken over the kingdom;
- Dany didn't do much other than solidify her control of the Dothraki which we basically saw last week, but at least she rode a dragon.
- Riverrun is about to become the center of action. Sam & Gilly are going through there on the lamb and the Fryes are about to attack. More importantly, Jaime was sent there this week and Briene began her journey to meet the Blackfish last week - a reunion is inevitable.

Overall, light on killing and boobage, but heavy on plot developments.

They had to set the table for the rest of the season. Four episodes left for the Battle of the Bastards and (hopefully) Clegane Bowl. The White Walkers potentially passing through the wall and Dany hopefully setting sail to Westeros.

I have a feeling that I'll have to remind myself to breath over a good chunk of the final four episodes.

That's it?! What a terrible episode! I need more murders and beheadings! #sarcasm

(BTW, just to clarify - those were wights Uncle Benjen killed, not walkers)

On a lighter note, this gif gives me the warm-and-fuzzies...

I can never get it right between Wights, Walkers, White Walkers, etc. Especially with similar undead and terminology on The Walking Dead in the mix.

For a split second Ithought Jamie Lannister might flip allegiances. I can’t see him being aligned with the Freys or Ramsey.

with Tyrion aligned with Dani, and Margaery up to god knows what...the Lannisters are as weak as the Tyrells at present.

then throw in Cersai and Jamie figuring now was a good a time as ever to do the Humpty Dance, I don't think they will have many options when push comes to shove in about 2 weeks or so.

He wouldn't be aligned with Ramsay Bolton. Bolton and the Northern allies he's acquired (Karstark's, Umber's) are pretty much independent at the moment - considering the fact that marrying Sansa instead of turning her over to King's Landing pissed Cersei off enough to promise Littlefinger that he could be Warden of the North if his Vale troops can overtake Winterfell.

Frey is a different story. King's Landing owes him for helping to end the War of the Five Kings ('Red Wedding') - and unlike the Bolton's he hasn't done anything to sever that alliance. Alhough I'm not sure how long that debt should last, especially considering Tywin Lannister was the facilitator of that deal and is dead.

I'm looking forward to if (when) Brienne and Jamie accidentally reunite in Riverrun - fighting on opposite sides. If Jamie truly means what he said to Cersei and they're 'the only two people in this world' then the friendship he developed with Brienne won't mean much. Regardless, it makes for an awkward situation.

Good point. What’s the forecast at this point?

Freys are headed to Riverrun.

Stark/Snow Wildling army headed to Winterfell

Littlefinger has designs on being the Warden of the North. What will he do with the Vale army? He wasn’t counting on Jon Snow

I’m assuming the Greyjoys make the fleet and align with Deanery’s?

Lannister and Tyrel alliance? How long before that fractures.

Who am I missing?

By the way, unless I missed it I don’t recall kings landing being notified that Roose Bolton has been assassinated.

Littlefinger's thought process is a mystery right now. He was obviously blindsided by Sansa's rejection of him. What he decides to do with the Vale troops is anyone's guess.

Euron Greyjoy's goal is to align with Daenerys but when that moment comes will she go through with it? Or see him as the dirtbag that he is and decline? Or see him as the dirtbag he is and accept?

Jamie runs Casterly Rock now (for the first time) and he seems to be in good terms with Mace and Olenna at the moment.

The Brotherhood Without Banners should be making an appearance shortly and may contribute to some important outcomes. Who runs Storm's End? Dragonstone?

I haven't seen King's Landing acknowledge Roose's murder either, although a lot of stuff happens that we don't see on the show. But I'm not sure it would matter anyway.

Sansa and Arya will not be doing nude scenes Intentionally keeping them as specia This isn't to say that Kahleesisn't special only that her character was surrounded by the need for nudity and its part of the story line much like Cersi.
