Likely the post of the thread, my man! (I'm not an official arbiter on rankings, although I am putting in a request for such. Rankings are cool, I used to cut the polls out of the newspaper as a kid, Syracuse in bold).
Do payside members need to show their work, or do we just stand in awe like in those "I know something but won't tell you!" threads that this board seems to love so much?
(just lighthearted fun-poking, folks. I'm not sure if people know how to take me, but I mean no harm[at least in this post]). While I only speak for myself, I feel safe assuming my antics resonate with a lurker or 2, and don't blame them for not thanking my post. It's likely wise for them not to!
Seriously though, I don't want to derail the thread, because I don't think I'd like it done to me. Golden Rule. I'm just as interested as the OP in hearing what others think, especially the mythical superheroes who aren't required to show their work, yet have much of the board salivating like Pavlov's Dog(tm) listening to the beginning of Pink Floyd's "Time".

Just in case you didnt want to wade through my above post, I wanted to thank you for this. I hope this takes off like the "Gun to my head" thread. I was tempted that night to make a "bottle to my mouth thread", but often after getting good ideas I get distracted, as I am told I have an "attention" problem. Another member inspired me earlier during tonight's foray to engage in the namesake of the aforementioned thread, and if I hung around much longer, my posts might get interesting.
What I'm trying to get at here is that I hope this thread gets the success that that other Thread of Percentages(the rumored name to the Game of Thrones spinoff, or was it House of Cards?). I mean the Taurean Thompson thread is on fire on the recruiting side, and it's got dozens of pages of posts with more nothing than Seinfeld. This is more inclusive, and theoretically should have more action. I'm a bit surprised I don't know TT's mom's favorite tv dinner yet.
I think the percentages may change if the boosters find a way to secretly spike young Mr Moyer's breakfast bowl with something to amp him up even more on the Cuse. If he were a poster on here, he would be...(can you guess?)....**n****o.
TT IMO is not coming. We live with the 8 we have. Which means the following year we better get a lot of recruits. Next year we lose: DC. Gillion. Roberson for sure. Down to 5. Possibly lose lydon and battle. That leaves us with 3. Moyer, Howsrd. CP. we need big time recruits following year

Scoring doesn't bother me as much as finding guys who can score late in the shotclock because my chips are all in on us being a solid defensive team. I can see Battle, Lydon, and Gillon (maybe Roberson) taking those shots, and think we will push a nice tempo, so not to worried.
But hey, 8 is probably the lowest in the acc probably tied for lowest 5 in the nation. Coming off a second final four an elite 8 and a one seed in 5 years, that is pretty darn perplexing. Besides, Who doesn't want more?

Mystery Man is officially out, so now I guess we are hoping Thompson comes here to give us a roster of 9 scholarship players. 8 is really thin. This is really an odd situation and could be quite uncomfortable if that's how it shakes down. Expecting to get through a season without any injuries, suspensions or any other issues is very optimistic.
Ugh that stinks, I guess now we can reveal who mystery man is lol.
