You gotta ask yourself...

Would you rather be in the position of SYRACUSE, or UCONN right now?

hmmm big east bottom feeder or acc bottom feeder- What is the differance?

It has EVERYTHING to do with this...

People are talking "fire the coach" & "WE SUCK"...

We are in a VASTLY better position than uconn, & we shouldn't forget this.

Let uconn fans revel tonight, because they will NEVER be a relevent program, EVER...

Syracuse has tradition, greatness, & a FUTURE in the same incredible place...

The team that won for crying out loud

Spilled milk, my friend... They won ONE insignificant game with no national relevance, & have NOWHERE else to go.

Syracuse is steadily improving its facilities & power base, something uconn cannot do...

They have beat us 5 times in a row. Your theory is crap. We have never won at their stadium.

Tradition isn't doing anything for us. We're as far from great as you can get. And the future looks at best mediocre. Get counseling.

Hey, spanky...

They beat us 5 times when we were flat on the mat & down for the count...

Let them try to beat us when we get back to our old self...

WON'T HAPPEN...

If you go back two years ago, these were almost the exact words you said after that loss. It's more than one insignificant game ( its five in a row). When you are rebuilding no wins or losses are insignificant - wins like today or last week help validate what a program is trying to do.

I'm all for drinking koolaid but its hard to so when there is nothing to drink.

Uh huh. Freshman QB who cant complete a pass. 5 turnovers in ONE HALF and we cant score. Do you actually watch the games? Spanky?

They have only been division 1 for 11 years and beat us the last five - last one today with our former coach.

I give you credit for optimism nut cmon man

No 18 year old kid cares about "Tradition" as well. Lets be real

I don't care if it's 6 in a row, Syracuse was way down, & now they are clawing back up, & this takes time. The ceiling at Syracuse is MUCH higher than what uconn can ever attain, & that's all I care about.

In 10 years, NOT ONE person outside Storrs will ever know about the uconn football program, but SYRACUSE will be a household name...

You are basing this on Uconn never being invited to another conference...I wouldn't be so quick to consider Uconn a "going nowhere" team until this whole conference realignment shakes out. I like the fact that your able to grasp for straws, when most of us can't seem to find any, you actually make straws to grasp for yourself, I can't be mad at you about that.

MAntonio don't like calling people out, but win and lose with class. I hate these posts of course we got the ACC to look forward too, but why do you need to basically crap on the team that just beat us. I get your the RutgersAl of the fanbase and love the energy, but dude RutgersAl never craps on the opposition he is a likable guy who is just a Rutgers homer, don't worry about the opposition. Let's just get 1 more win and hope for the Pinstripe Bowl.

It's ok to crap on teams who treat us like we are the ones who are newcomers to major college football. I have dealt with too many UCONN & Rutgers fans who don't respect what Syracuse has achieved, & they must be put in their place.

You might not like what I am saying, but it's all true.

Uconn & Rutgers have very little chance of reaching beyond what they have done to date, because they have zero tradition & popularity with the masses. Everywhere I go in this country, I see Syracuse fans. That is simply not true of those other upstarts & their rude behavior.

When I see respect for the 'CUSE as a forefather in major college football, ranked in the top 15 all time, I will act in kind towards them.

I respect West Virginia because of their historic success, as do I Penn State, & the other greats... Uconn & Rutgers belong NOWHERE in this discussion, & they need to keep their mouths closed...

It sure hasn't helped in recruiting lately. This team is flat out .. bad.

I'm having a difficult time in believing that they are capable of winning another game this season.

Dude, who cares what UConn or Rutgers fans say about us they aren't Syracuse fans. Rutgers fans are as Geno Auriemma said "Born miserable. Stay miserable" who cares what they say they still think Greg Schiano is God, and they have as much talent as Alabama-LSU.I don't care for UConn and we won't have to deal with them in the ACC, but when you lose 5 in a row to somebody you don't talk crap about them if its internet bantering its one thing, but the stuff you say isn't. So what if they are rude also we were good in 50's, 60's 70's, 80's, and 90's but that means very little to the Playstation 3, IPOD, listening recruits of today. I love Syracuse just as much as you do, but we are a private school located not in a prime football recruiting hotbed we need to have an 8 win regular seasons back to back before I act cocky. I am just saying if you wanna be the RutgersAl of the fanbase fine, but don't be a bomb thrower at other programs and not look in our mirror. We are on the upswing, but I won't be taunting because the ACC picked us. Just talk about Sweet Alec Lemon, and Chandler the Man Handler Jones like the Al would.

"I know we've sucked for the past decade and we dont look like we're getting any better, our coaching is pretty sub-par as well, umm our facilities are pretty terrible, but if you come to Syracuse you can play on Ernie Davis Field and get Donovan McNabb's autograph!!!"

Friday night game against a reeling USF, need to get the mojo back. SU is not a good road team this year.

Still can go to a bowl, still can have a winning season.
