Such a lazy take. He shot 44.4% his junior year. He shot 35% the year before. He didn't shoot well from 3 last year but is still 34% overall.

I don't really see how it has been unorthodox. I think Red needed to replace some guys and put guys in positions that best suit them. I think we did that with the Lampkin acquisition. We also got Jyare as what should be a good back up player to Freeman. Last year's roster became a mess - now...

You really think Carlos can match Gillon's production? I hope so, but tend to doubt it. Gillon was a solid guard for us. If Carlos can produce anything similar to Gillon, I'd be VERY happy. Hell, he shot 42% from 3, 86% FT, and had over 5 assists per game with 2 turnovers.

Remember the Judah/Waters announcement situation. I think a lot of these young guys want to make the announcement themselves. In the case of Leffew, that's probably true as well based on some of his social media posts during his recruitment.

I don't care to read or watch the interview but I'm glad it came across well. I certainly was not a fan of some of his antics on/off the court but he's part of the fam and will continue to represent Cuse moving forward. No reason not to wish him well.

Gillon was really a good player and I believe deserved so much more respect. His height posed an issue in the 100% zone we played at the time. However, I liked him.

Hawkins would excite me. He just screams PG. However, if the staff prefers Leffew, so be it. Watching tape on Jaquan Carlos, he doesn't seem as good of a slasher/driver to the basket (esp compared to Hawkins). Most of his drives that I've seen are pretty straight forward blowing by guys...
