Both things can be true. You can acknowledge that his actual observable behavior on the court was bad and not wish him ill will (or care either way how it goes for him.) That is where I am with this.

I think both will make big leaps. Bell in particular. 2nd half of the season JJ with a seemingly great attitude also has the potential to improve quite a bit.

I'm with you. When your most talked about stat during games is how many times you get to the foul line, that doesn't bode well for future success. And when it is accompanied by constant complaining to the refs, it becomes almost unwatchable.

Now we can work on a multi-faceted forward who can score and a lead guard. If it means having less guys playing out of position, I think it makes things a lot easier going forward.

I understand that. That is why I referred to Judah announcing his intentions. It would seem that if the staff is supposed to keep Judah's decision under wraps, they can't go ahead and a sign a big name point guard. At some point, whomever they are targeting in the portal will want to be certain...

I don't think anyone hated him. Some people thought he wasn't utilized correctly.

I may be expecting too much from Moore, but it won't be the same situation if Moore can shoot as advertised and Westry isn't a turnover machine.

But if we portal for a really strong lead guard, we have Chance, Moore, Starling (and Cuffe) to round out the backcourt.

I referred to this team's lack of poise about ten to fifteen times during game threads this season. It sounds like we may be looking for some players who possess that trait next year, while jettisoning those who don't.

That's a great question given this year's roster. I am confident we will get a starting center, but I am weirdly bullish on Patterson as a project over a few years.
