If you read the Hurley article on culture vs talent, I kind of wonder where the parents are on this. Can the kid do no wrong or did they kick his butt? If it’s the later, and the kid sent a letter of apology and asked to have another chance, maybe you give him that chance.

Well, Fran’s a straight shooter. Maybe he heard the same thing about the kid and thought he would fit in.

Benny was an athlete who played basketball. Freeman is a basketball player who is an athlete. Big difference.

How much did he have the ball in his hands? That’s a key number. I don’t really recall him driving much, or making any passes that weren’t at the perimeter. Might have, I just don’t recall that.

I think (hope) with the big guy back and healthy, plus Lampkin, we might be okay inside. Force guys off the 3 and live giving up the mid-range. Also, I think year two, the returning guys will be better on defense.

FB hasn’t come to expect to reel in top players and beat out top programs, yet. In 2 years if we aren’t getting top 10 classes, that side will be crazy, too.
