Some clarification is needed here. Spencer's "career" at Rutgers was one season. He played 3 years at Loyola, following his brother Pat, the Tewaarton (Heisman) winner in lacrosse. The brother was also a hooper, playing his 5th year at Northwestern with 10/4/4 numbers.

Unless he develops a whole new set of skills in the off-season, Bell is not a 2-guard. Starling had a 1:1 assist/TO ratio as a secondary ball-handler. That was without the opposition's primary perimeter defender on him. You can't put a square peg in a round hole, even for short periods.

Where on the roster referenced above do you see an above-average ball-handling guard? Certainly not Starling or Bell.

That lineup would be vulnerable to a press. They might average 20 turnovers per game.
