Lol. Yes, you want to win in all areas. It’s a scrimmage so hard to really know just an observation and maybe it’s because our O-line is great. Really like our top 2 RBs and Hart looked good also.

QB is more about instinct, feel, timing and smarts. Bummer we lost Lampson to Stanford, he seemed to have a great football IQ. Arm strength and running certainly matter maybe it clicks for Del Rio but he is not a rookie

Kid is being short sighted. If he wants to play pro ball needs to find the best staff and school that gives him the most eyeballs. Cuse fam takes care of players post basketball, and he gets a 100k a year education

Cuffe, Westry can defend. Lampkin, Freeman and Davis are all big or tall so should be able to rebound. Bell got a lot better and expect him to be good. McCloud and Patterson are both tall and can protect the rim and matchup with big guys. JJ is athletic and not terrible. Wildcards are new guard...

Staff needs to go after Roach, Wagner and Fland. No one is promised a starting role or minutes. We should be able to land one of them take the keys from Mintz

Good news is we have three centers on the team and if the other team has a 6’8” center we can play Davis, Freeman or even Westry and go small. Lost of options.

They were scoring guards, not what i would call a pure PG, pass first. They could pass for sure. I would call Sherm more of a true point he was pass first as was Billy Ededlin, Ennis was a hybrid. NBA is different as the 2G are generally 6’6” guys.

I dont think you should wait for anything in CBB and should not rely on Freshman as it’s a hit and miss. Prefer to develop a few guys and hope they pan out while getting top level older transfers.

My guess if we did not lose OG, GS, Peña, and our other top WR, Most of the Oline and key D starters we probably win 9 games. Call it bad luck or not recruiting enough depth but not too many teams win with a TE playing QB….Like what Fran is doing and the depth we are getting. Need a strong #2...

He can’t run the ball like Shrader, that guy was one of the best in CFB. If not for injuries would have been a different year. We need McCord to be able to pick up first downs on occasion to keep the defense honest.

Depends on the coach, Babers was more of a CEO type, different style. He got Devito and Shrader both great QB’s. We should not compare guys. Like what Fran is doing with this group and think KM will be great. My biggest concern is backup QB, we are in the same situation as last year right now

NU Defense was very good . They had zero QB play as the transfer Sims was terrible and Purdy hurt. Decimated by injuries and losing close games. Reminded me of a SU season:) I hope we are past those days.
