I saw the AA doubleheader. IMO, no D1 kids except for maybe the kid from Liverpool. Very impressed with the winner Victor. An excellent team that blew out its two opponents. But no D1 kids.

The ACC was one of the few that had a league tournament at the time (i.e., the champion could change post season and the regular season champ was sol).

I had four tickets 20 rows up looking at the end line. Great seats. My fondest memory was driving 20 minutes, parking, and going to SU games of this magnitude. Not the 2-1/2 hour ride I'm accustomed to for an SU game. I also remember how loud the arena was for SU.
