I think that's a fair point and agree with you. Probably the broader context is it feels like often "black and white" rules are called subjectively week to week (and sometimes within each game)...and fair or not, it feels like Buffalo has been on the losing end of that multiple times this...

Exactly. Context matters- the win feels great and the kids (and coaches) deserve it. But resorting to a gimmick offense to beat a 2-7 Pitt squad is an indication of how much trouble the program is in. Hence why a change is needed.

Totally agree, concept is to keep the last timeout for a field goal attempt but that burned 15-18 seconds to gain three yards. Now clock should have stopped because a tripping penalty should have been called, but that’s another matter…
