This kid is very good. Sees the game at a high level. Has size. Not an elite athlete, Maybe not a point guard per se but has the vision and passing ability you would want. Might struggle against smaller guards that press.

This is why the Weitsman thing never made any sense to me, and the narrative on this board that "we are fine with NIL" doesn't make sense either. Are we truly a Top 20 NIL program? I saw the football numbers, in which were in the bottom third of P5 prior to Fran's arrival.

I am really curious what a guy like this would demand on the NIL market… Easier to understand with basketball - those numbers are thrown out there pretty regularly. Less so with football, especially non-QB players.

If we are losing recruits in basketball due to football, then again - what are we doing? In theory, sure it makes a little sense - but I am nearly positive that we have two distinct subsets of donors on either side. Some overlap but not 100%. And I would argue not 60%.

Different orgs have different needs. Bang for your buck, Vivenu is very economical. If you have the funds and scale needed to support TM or Paciolan, they do have more infrastructure to help support.

Fee structure for both are horrific for the consumer. Also relatively expensive for the client. Vivenu is an emerging company that limits fees. Customizable builds. Inexpensive solution. Most Euro soccer teams use it.

Which makes the roster composition all that more questionable the last two years. Not faulting Red, who likely felt obligated to keep the class - but it made zero sense for us to have so many freshmen and sophomores on our team.
