I couldn't really afford to get into many battles with 28 spots to fill. Figured I'd lay down a solid base, get my vision up and in a few seasons spend that extra cash on better players. BTW - when you have 28 spots to fill they won't let you schedule any exhibition games, you get an email...

Did you have many battles? How did you do vs. sims? Good to have this class under my belt and build a good base.

I'm in for the move, as much as I enjoy Ply St and the great competition, I think it would be cool to all start basically from scratch and build our teams at the same time and go from there.

Now we're done. Didn't get the DII LB I was battling for but I added a little more quality depth at DB which I desperately need.

How's recruiting going for everyone? 16 down, one more guy to go, but pulled a pretty fair class.

That was a tough one Fin. Have no idea how we pulled out a win with the way things were going at halftime. Good game, plenty of season to go. This schedule has been rough already and we're only 3 games in.

Well, it could have been worse. I have a few guys I'm happy with, more that will provide solid depth, but for the most part a very average class. Not something that will get me over the top for another title anytime soon. Only have 2 sim signings so I can dump them next season and it will help...

I think the torch has been passed. I had a horrible class overall, probably my worst one in the last 15 or so seasons. Timing was bad with traveling and I over-reached with a few guys that I spent too much cash on. Had 5 of my best guys taken by DII schools and will probably have 3 sim signings...

Ah that sucks to hear. Recruiting here has been rough. Out all day and just now looked and saw that my 4 top recruits have DII schools on them, wow.

I hope I'm ready. I've got 17 guys to get on board. Time to restock the roster. At least we've got a little extra cash to do it with.

Thanks. I'm no expert by any means, but it's mainly about the player you recruit. QB with high strength, WR with good speed and elusiveness, a good OL with high GI and Tech. And then make sure you're recruiting guys who all are as high as possible in the different formation that you want to run...

Well we weren't able to complete the run. Stayed with him the first half but he's got too strong a team for us to compete with this season. Good run but now time to get our asses handed to us for two season while we replace almost 40 players.

Yeah I've got a big reload next season as well. 17 next season and 19 the following one. It's now or wait three seasons to compete again. You guys are going to take it to us the next couple seasons. I've actually taken a look at it and have a good match vs him. Where he lacks is speed on D in...

Well at least one of us made it. I would have bet it would have been you, but this thing is not always that predictable. He's got a good team and awesome D but we'll give it our best shot to hand him his first loss of the season.

yeah, they're a good team. I've got a couple of mismatches I think I can take advantage of. If that works and I can slow down his running game we've got a chance.

Well we rebounded after that swift ass-kicking from Orangepace yesterday. I don't feel so bad after seeing the beating you delivered today in Rd. 1. Wow. Had a solid second half today and pulled away from a team that was +2.5 favorite vs. us. Next up a tough Nichols squad.
