My favorite play was his defense late in the game when NC State tried to dump off underneath and Cope jumped the pass. It was truly a key play of the game. And when I watched it back it was no accident he clearly anticipated it.

Two of the greatest players in the game were legendary trash talkers. Larry and Michael. Don’t mind it against other players. Not sure what I think about it with students. Unless of course they crossed the line which is very very possible.

I would like to more lineups of Copeland and Cuffe at least for a spell of Judah and JJ. Cuffe is more likely to get the benefit of a pass with Copeland in the game. Playing with Judah he is not likely to be as effective as he can’t really create his own shot because of his size.

I always like when they use biblical phraseology (ie blessed and highly favored) in their communications. Definitely a strong suit of HCFB and company.

I think defense maybe the biggest issue he needs to work on as well as playmaking. At his size in the NBA he needs to be making other players better somehow. Or he needs to be lockdown defender. That said, he will easily play professionally overseas.

Same here. I also preached patience with Benny and it was given. But patience doesn’t mean you keep getting chances forever. There has to be patience with consequences. And we’ve reached that stage. I really really hope he can continue to play basketball and use all of that talent productively...

Just checked and now the ranking on Rivals is 35. Believe it’s in the 30s for on3 and 247 as well. Pretty darn impressive for a first year coach!

Wow, I could see him playing in the NFL. He’s got great mobility, natural instincts and a wonderful arm with accuracy on the run. Not much not to like!
