Went to every game as a student, and go to every game in the NYC metro area. Went to the final four in 2013. My investment in tuition itself is probably 100x what you've spent for SU basketball. Good guess though! I stay away from the basketball board because of negative folks like you.

Literally nothing is a cluster right now. It makes sense to push an update now to get more renewals in now that people can see where they stand. When the final update is made it seems like all the info will be crystal clear.

Regardless of the student activity fee portion, if you want students to show up, giving them "free tickets" isn't a great way to raise attendance numbers. Give them a reason to attend.

Yep, this is me as well. I've donated to SU in the 10 years since i've graduated, but I also have decided to direct that money to worthier causes than a university charging $75k tuition per year.

If he wasn't a HS 4 star you wouldn't have even brought this name up. There's hundreds of kids like this in the portal. CDRW and Braden Davis were 4 stars in HS too.

It's unfair to students that don't want to attend sporting events to include that in their student activity fee. But free tickets have a much lower show rate than paid tickets because there is no sunk cost for the fan that purchased them. The tickets should be reasonably priced to encourage...

But I think LemoyneCuse's point is if we could recruit 25 4 stars from around the country in each class, we'd win football games. It doesn't matter where they come from in a time where communication renders distance less important. It's cool that these kids are local though.

Our attendance has been pretty good recently when the team isn't atrocious. The answer to getting people to show up will never be "free tickets".

TBH it's easy to not get happy feet or look stressed when you're wearing a different color jersey and can't get hit. Not that he wasn't impressive, but once the season starts I hope that continues.
