Your first chance to experience the Fran Brown era of Syracuse football comes on Saturday at 7 p.m. in the JMA Wireless Dome, for the AmeriCU Spring Game.
The game will feature fans first look at the 2024 roster, which features one of On3's top-ranked portal classes, a host of key returners and prized recruits.
Tickets are free for the event, but must be claimed prior to entry at Cuse.com/Tickets.
The game will feature two teams, each led by a guest coach. Zaire Franklin – a 2018 Syracuse alum and star linebacker for the Indianapolis Colts – will coach one team, while former offensive guard John Lally '82, will lead the other.
Fans will be treated to a true game experience with the team's intra-squad scrimmage – which kicks off at 7:05 p.m. – being played with traditional game rules.
Parking is free in the west lots, but fans are encouraged to arrive early to account for departing lacrosse traffic. Additionally, the team will run out of the tunnel shortly before 7 p.m., so you'll want to be in your seat prior to the start of the game.
The revival of an old tradition will also be coming to 'Cuse games this fall with the Quad Walk. Fans are encouraged to see the first quad walk of the Fran Brown era, which will begin at 5:15 p.m. Fans wishing to greet the team should meet near Hendricks Chapel. The team will arrive on the side of Hendricks Chapel and proceed around the building past the Chapel steps and enter through Gate D of the Dome.
Spring game rosters will be announced once finalized.
Fans who can't make the game can watch live on ACCNX or listen live on the Syracuse Radio Network via TK99/105 locally or on the 'Cuse app.
