Trump is going to make Nixon's relationship with the media look like a love fest.
CNN should be afraid Trump will use the FBI against them.
He is a thin skinned bully in a job you need the thickest skin.
In about a year it's gonna look like this:
because he's going to bar everyone who doesn't adore him.
Trump to CNN: "You're fired!"
I can't be the only one that was trying not to laugh out loud watching that at lunch
no. not you. not you. your organization is terrible. quiet quiet.
cnn basically turned over their programming to trump in the primary and now the knives are out. who could've seen that coming (except everyone on the right who opposed trump)
I don't think CNN has to worry about that. Trump has made enemies out of the IC and the media. This is going to be brutal. I hope our country survives.
Only if he lasts long enough to try it.
Trump is at war with the NSA/CIA.
The FBI has been with him.
He will use the FBI and Pompei is going to go to work on the CIA.
Reading this makes me long for Obama already.
Farewell to a Decade of Media Drooling Over Barack Obama
Did anyone catch the Tillerson thingi on CNN.
Dumpster fire anyone ?
The part that he got caught in lies?
The media isn't what it was; it's too fractured and the internet changed consumption patterns to the point everyone customizes news consumption to their world view. This protects all elected leaders. It's hard to destroy someone now absent an audio or video smoking gun. Some politicians also develop an anti-fragility that increases every time they survive a scandal.
You guys still don't get it. It is easy to slime a person like Romney who is a gentleman and a class act, because he won't respond. Trump is different. He is a street fighter who is not afraid to get down in the dirt and throw sheit right back at those who throw sheit at him. An attribute by the way which serves him well with his supporters. As I understand it, this story has been around for months. The allegations as I understand it include the fact that Trump had prostitutes urinating in a bed that had previously been used by the Obamas.
All of a sudden after he is elected the story pops up. McCain claims he was given the story and turned it over to the FBI. I wonder why didn't McCain talk to the Trump people and ask them if there was any validity to the story. I have no way or knowing if this story is true or not, but my bet is that is made up. So far no one has shown any evidence to prove the story to be true. If in fact is proven to be made up then CNN will be shown to be the type of media that it is. A media that is in the tank for the Democrats and will do whatever it takes to bring Trump down.
I hope that we can get to the real truth and if Trump has been compromised then he should not be President and should have never been allowed to run for the highest office in the land On the other hand if the story proves to be bogus then the press like Buzz Feed and CNN should be held accountable for publishing a bogus story. Furthermore if the story is proven to be bogus, he will only become stronger in the eyes of his supporters. I am really concerned that if the Russians were looking to muddle our election process and create discord in our country, they are being extremely successful in achieving their goals.
Let's not kid ourselves, he is not an innocent victim just fighting back, but is often an instigator. And he does throw "sheit"--if you can fight back by making strong counterarguments and proving your critics wrong, great, but he mostly just engages in name-calling and lies.
CNN didn't report on the 35 page document. They reported on the 2 page document that the IC shared with Obama and trump.
You don't know what you are talking about. CNN did absolutely nothing wrong. They reported that Trump had been given a 2 page memo that stated he might have been compromised. period. They had multiple sources. That is what journalists do. The Buzz feed story is a totally different matter. CNN didn't site any of the material that Buzzfeed did. Nor did they, as Conway tried to claim tonight, link the story to Buzzfeed on their web site.
If, Victor? If?
