"beating the zone"

ironically Roberson has the biggest zone busting upside in years. he can shoot mid range , pass but mostly make choices.

I remember a few years back, an unnamed Big East assistant coach told a reporter that Syracuse was the easiest team to prepare for because they always run the same basic stuff . . . but one of the hardest teams to beat because they execute it so well & are able to make several minor mid game adjustments to adapt to what isn't working

How to beat a 2-3 zone: Position a player at the high post capable of making a 15 foot jumper or passing down low. If the center commits to stopping the jumper the forwards should immediately cut to the basket and look for the ball.

How to beat a M2M: Screen and roll.

Not that difficult...
More simply put, make your shots. JB always says, that when the ball goes in the basket, he looks like a better coach.

So tired of missed dunks trying to make a statement instead of just getting an easy two points with less "style".

Edit: Whoops - wrong thread.
