Watched a documentary about public speaking and our friend was used as an example of what can go wrong. Another friend, she of "US American's" fame, the beauty contestant from South Carolina was also used as an example of good intentions gone wrong.
If you either like or are afraid of public speaking this is an interesting and, at times, inspiring film.
"Speak" deals with the Toastmasters national contest. Every year the event starts out with over 30,000 contestants in local, state and regional events. They delve into the backgrounds of some of the participants. Several had tremendous hurdles to overcome. The documentary was very inspiring and well done. It is a recent release that I got from my public library. I think you would enjoy it.
