Pay article. Don't know if there is interest but Reno Ferri is following him. Looks like OVs coming for Temple and Rutgers.

Impressive size and quickness. Could be a strong pass rusher.

Rutty staff going over their recruiting board like...

This year for NYS commits was the best I've seen in a long time.

This year for NYS commits was the best I've seen in a long time.

Here is a list I took from one of the sites (not to worry; public info).

It might not be complete, and it includes some non P5 schools but there are 44 players on it, all who played HS in NY in 2017. It does not include players from NY who played football in other states. There are typically some players from NYC and the lower Hudson Valley who attend HS in NJ, mostly at Catholic HS programs that recruit players. I bet at least 50 players from NY got full scholarships to play football overall in this class.

Thanks for the list. Its about what I thought. That's a lot compared to other years. I remember watching the Govenor's Bowl. NYS vs NJ. They would name players from NJ who were going to big schools like OSU, Penn st. The second tier kids were headed to schools like Maryland and BC. Then they would list NYS players that would going to SU, Penn st but the rest of the roster was filled up with kids heading to Wagner, Stony brook, D2's or juco's schools.

I inadvertently dropped the college destination for a couple of kids from my first post. Fixed that.

By my count, 18 players are headed to P5 schools. 34 are headed to FBS schools. Not bad.
