Amba Etta-Tawo is currently ranked in the top 5 in all of the main statistical receiving categories.

His receiving stats through week 4:

Yards - 1st (706)
Receptions - 4th (40)
Touchdowns - T-5th (5)

If he keeps up this pace, Etta-Tawo will easily set a new NCAA record for receiving yards in a season.

Thank you, Maryland.

That's got to be good for recruiting WRs.

Agreed completely. If he can even keep going at 1/2 his pace this year, those are numbers that any WR or prospective WR should drool over. Baylor has had some really, really good WRs emerge from their program running this offense.

We play in a controlled-environment Dome in a very good conference. The selling points are there.

Best part is that teams are going to start bracketing AET, which will clear up room for Erv, Ish, Estime and whoever the hell else. Very good progression thus far.

it's fun to imagine the threads about etta tawo in previous years. not fast enough, not a playmaker, maybe even something about press coverage

this is a guy that had one more td than broyld before coming here

Oh man, what would Broyld have done in this offense? Kidding kidding!

hopefully we have someone to play his role next year in this offense.. not sure what it would have been without him this year. interesting to hear Dungey talk about Custis in the PC as a target and he hasnt even played. he must be showing something in the practices.

I'm not even sure we'd have thrown a 50/50 ball to him 2-3 times the whole year under previous regimes.

Actually, moot point - he wouldn't even be on the roster.

Butler is going to step up too, after a year in S&C. Won't be as productive as Jerry Rice is this year. But by next year, the offense will be more comfortable to a lot of players, including Dungey. There are enough WRs to keep moving the chains.

imagine what he could do as a hybrid
