How much fun is this?! While some of us don’t need a national holiday to dress like a dork, because it just comes natural, others may need a little help celebrating today. Below are some tips on how to dress like a dork!
How to Dress Like a Dork
Dressing like a dork is pretty simple. All you need to do is slick back your hair, get out the plaid polyester pants, hideous shirt, suspenders, white knee socks or mismatched argyle socks and your favorite dickey. Add ginormous rimmed glasses with a bit of masking tape, tuck in the shirt, wrap the fanny pack around your fanny and you are good to go!

Dino Babers doesn’t even like public speaking (TNIAAM; Cassillo)
On Monday, Syracuse Orange Head Football Coach Dino Babers shared some thoughts with media around Saturday’s upset win over the Virginia Tech Hokies. Understandably, there was some conversation around his thrilling post-game pep talk.
"That's probably like the only glimpse you're going to get of us in the locker room. I don't like sharing family things. That's something we've been doing for a long time, and it's very personal with me, and it's something that's a reward for the guys in the locker room.
... I really don't even enjoy public speaking."
That’s quite a surprise to hear, considering how much of a hit Babers has been with press and fans since he arrived on campus. From our first interview with him holding court at ACC Football Kickoff to the ESPN Car Wash and Saturday’s pep talk (among other moments), Coach seems less than shy about sharing a quick and entertaining soundbite. And while he may not be a fan of the camera, he understands the impact of the win and the team’s reaction to him, and how that translates for the program. As he said himself:
“Better hold onto it. Better hit save. You might be re-watching it for a while."
Babers also addressed the “kumbaya meetings” he spoke so much about after the win, though without a ton of detail. Simply some private team meetings about things that needed to change — it would seem they worked, since a whole lot went right against the Hokies that hadn’t in previous games.

Justin Pugh graded out as the Giants top offensive player during a 2723 win over Baltimore, according to Pro Football Focus. He finished with a grade of 84 as the starting left guard. As an offensive line, the Giants rushed for just 38 yards but also surrendered just one sack.
Riley Dixon, Denver Broncos
Dixon has had no trouble adjusting as an NFL rookie, ranking among the top 15 punters in a pair of key categories. He ranks 10 th in the NFL in net punting (41.5 yards) and is tied for 13 th in punts downed inside the 20 (13). Dixon punted five times and had two of them muffed and recovered by the Broncos during a 2113 loss to the San Diego Chargers.
Arthur Jones, Indianapolis Colts
Arthur Jones started and played in his first regular season game since the AFC championship game on Jan 19, 2015. He had one tackle in a 2623 overtime loss to the Houston Texans. Jones missed last season with an ankle injury, and sat out the first four games this year after testing positive for performanceenhancing drugs. County Exec Mahoney's scathing response to Syracuse mayor: Good riddance (PS; Knauss)
Onondaga County Executive Joanie Mahoney today issued a withering response to Mayor Stephanie Miner after the mayor complained about county economic development initiatives.
The gist of the letter: Good riddance.
Mahoney accused Miner of political posturing, breaking agreements and mispresenting the facts as she responded to Miner's announcement that city employees would move out of the county's economic development office.
"Your unilateral dismantling of a co-located economic development office without even the courtesy of a telephone call puts your interests ahead of the people we serve,' Mahoney wrote. "Our administrations are about more than politics and posturing and your actions belie that.''
The exchange appeared to represent a new low in the relationship between the two leaders, who started off as strong collaborators. As recently as three years ago, Miner and Mahoney actively sought new ways to combine city and county services.
But Mahoney's letter today leaves little promise of further cooperation between the two.
"We are seeing the results of our hard work and making real progress in Onondaga County,'' Mahoney said. "It would be nice to do it with your help but, rest assured, we will do it without you if we have to.''
