Oh I am sure if Frost is going to take this job then he would want to be recruiting these 2 weeks for Syracuse his new job not Oregon his old job.

Agree with this entirely. He had his guy, but couldn't close the deal. That's not a good look.

Why? I'm not advocating that SS should have been retained. Rather, to not have all your ducks in a row before you make a move, is amateur hour to me. Typical of what we have been used to for years now with this athletic department.
