Thought I saw that he got a 5 year deal, which is good for a first-time head coach, right?
He's talking about the formers Charges Coach McCoy who is a candidate for OC for both Denver and Buffalo
Whoops, thought I read McDermott, not McCoy.
I saw that he's expected to take his time with his decision; he has interest from Buffalo, Denver, Jets, Jacksonville, and Washington (if their OC gets the Rams job).
Could certainly do a hell of a lot worse, probably a good OC for a first time HC as well. Not the s e xiest hire but solid if it happens
Yeah he is in demand for sure
C'mon back to Denver McCoy, we welcome you back with open arms.
If McCoy is smart he runs back to Denver. They are a QB away from being a Super Bowl team. And the more success Denver has the better shot he will get at another head coaching job. He wasn't terrible in SD. He won a road playoff game for crying out loud. He deserves a second chance to be a head coach. Just a miserable situation in SD right now with the team move and everything.
Can't read your tweet. I heard 5 min ago, that it's between Musgrave or McCoy for OC in Denver.
Because the tweet was taken down, McCoy to Denver isn't official. One major reputable outlet had it as official but is now back-tracking
Yeah on air just now they said who the outlet was, but I forgot. But they said on air according to them it was official with McCoy.
Like what I am reading about McDermott- tough, no nonsense, workaholic. Exactly the opposite of Rex. Who knows whether it works or not, but If you are going with an assistant coach- I like the move. Recall that he was a top contender a year ago after Carolina's Super Bowl run.
Now it comes down to players...as noted above, really need a strong draft this year.
I'd say the O-Line is also a huge issue in Denver.
Yeah, I am not sure he runs back to Denver unless they are willing to pay. No QB, and you are right QB is an issue. All depends where he wants to live as well, I would imagine. Washington may be willing to pay him more as well
Dick Jauron was my favorite Bills coach.
So what do we think about Leslie Frazier as DC? I'm looking for other opinions because I know is background but haven't really followed his career that much.
His defensive hires have been STRONG, imo.
I agree. I think Frazier will be solid and love Waufle at DL. I think Juan Castillo will be solid at OL also.
Looks like we may be looking at Brad Childress or Greg Olson at OL.
Brad Childress and Greg Olson 'top targets' for Buffalo Bills OC job (report)
Looks like Aaron might be coming back. As much as I'd like him on the team, not sure how I feel about this. He's had some scary injuries.
Buffalo Bills safety Aaron Williams planning to come back in 2017 (report)
He was playing Pro-Bowl level before Landry's cheap shot. The drop off in secondary play after that was insane.
We absolutely need to draft a safety or two but Williams/Graham pencil in two starters to open the season.
