Hard to believe that FGCU is the same team that played this schedule

Talking about jelling at the right time. Besides losing at VCU, at Duke, at St Johns and at Iowa State they also lost at Maine, at Mercer, at E Tenn State at Stetson and lost twice to Lipscomb. That Lipscomb team must be pretty good to beat this FGCU team twice this year.

When you truly have nothing to lose and believe in your team, it's hard to be beaten. If they lose, that is what is expected. If they win, everyone loves them more. We're Americans, we naturally love underdogs (so long as they aren't playing our team).

I'd love to see Billy Donovan and Company fall to these kids.

The scary thing about this team is they return 4 starters and add a transfer from both Marquette and Georgia tech. The only player they lose are do it all Sherwood brown and senior leader Eddie Murrey. They could be better next year.

Looks like they started to play a little defense. That always helps. As great as this weekend was, I find it hard to believe they can take down Florida next, but I sure hope so.
