Derrick is a comedian from Syracuse who now lives in Atlanta. He is a frequent visitor to Hudson Grille and Siracusa's on gamedays and travels back 'home' often to do shows at the funnybone and other comedy joints and also to attend Cuse games.

But he certainly doesnt need help for him. He needs help for a little 5 yr old girl that he befriended about a year ago at a 'make a wish' type event. She had terminal cancer back then - but has beaten it on 4 different occasions. Unfortunately last weekend things took a turn for the worse. She was released from the hospital a few days ago to go home to hospice. She doesn't have much longer.
