Yeah, terrible conference sked. 3 of the 4 teams we played twice were NCAA tourney teams. And we played a 1 seed and a 2 seed twice (3 times if you count the BET). And our lone games against 3rd seeded Marquette and 8th seed Pitt were road games.

Nice to see some writers sticking to their lazy narratives- it's much easier than doing some research and writing a good piece.

SU's just one of those 16 ho hum teams out of approximately 346 D1 teams that made it this far. Guess it is ho hum that SU made it to the Sweet 16 so far -- over 300 programs wish they were just as ho-hum.
Looking forward to a ho hum elite 8, ho hum Final 4, a ho hum semi-final and a very SU ho hum NC too. Just 4 more games! Keep humming along.

Yes it is true. Not surprising though, we have been there all year. We are currently #20 in adjusted offensive efficiency and #10 in adjusted defensive efficiency.

In terms of the remaining field we have the 6th most efficient defense and the 9th most efficient offense.
For reference, IU is #1 in Adjusted O and 13th in Adjusted D overall. They are extremely good. Louisville is 10th in O and 1st in D and we have beaten them, so it is possible.
