If he had enough minutes he'd be 3rd in goals against average, 6th in save percentage.

Add that to how well they do on possession stats;

4th in FO %, 5th in clearing, 13th in GB, 15th in TO's, and 18th in caused TO's, and SU doesn't have to be super efficient on offense to win.

And they have been efficient on offense, 13th in shooting percentage and 10th in assists.

He keeps that up behind a team that values the ball and is efficient on offense and SU has a really good shot of making it deep into the tourney again.

Thanks for gathering those interesting stats.

He has been great. I complain regularly about the excessive size of the roster, but it has been great to have a fifth year senior come off the bench and save the season. Beyond stops, he does a great job communicating and calming the dms and ssdns.

Molloy is only a 4th year Junior.

Thanks. Confused by seeing him walk out for senior day. Should be for the guys that are playing in last home game, not walking out with the guys you came in with as a freshman.

That's the way they do it now. Dylan Donohue walked out with the seniors last year. With the amount of red shirting the program does now, it has become common.

The switch was overdue , he's been a clear upgrade and seemingly getting more confident and better with each game. Thx for rankings, team stats look good at first glance though they should be given that we are 5th ranked team in nation. Don't mean to be downplay but the stats suggest that our greatest strength/advantage is still at fogo and that other areas while good/solid are not particularly special as a top five ranking would suggest . SOS obviously factors as some lesser programs with lesser schedules could have some high rankings but I do wonder where other top ten teams stand in these categories as comparision
