For whatever reason, the state of Maryland embraced lacrosse more than a century ago, and have never given it up.

(BTW--SU #2, Army #5, Hobart #6, Cornell #7. So, New York has done okay also.)

great point, I just have this exceptionality thing going where I think Syracuse should walk into final fours. but it just aint happening.
