Hopefully Selden will play that role for Ennis first 2 years and Briscoe his last 2.
Get him to commit already I'm sick of this waiting game.
It's the wait that makes it so rewarding!
Wait, what? No it isn't, it is all the wins and championships and envy of all the college basketball, isn't it?
Its both the former is for yourself the latter is to talk . . . . to all your friends and to all the haters!
Good point, I agree. Especially the bandwagon fans of Kentucky or Duke or whatever the flavor of the day is.
I know im only kidding. I just know this 13 class is going to be special.
At one point I thought that the 2014 class was going to be the real prize, but as things are shaping up, 2013, 2014 and 2015 all look like they will be unbelievable. I don't think SU has ever strung together recruiting classes as good as the ones we are hoping and likely to get over the next three years. It seemed like in the eighties we would have one monster class followed by a good class or two and then another monster class. Now, it seems that every year is a great class.
Its a great time to be a fan.
Yes and I believe Ennis will be a 4 year player for SU.
I assumed that was a fact because of Jimmy lovin those long armed guys!
I don't know, I just see that fans kind of over hype kids and when I see them play I just don't get the legend that was player x.
Thanks tom...can the young man shoot off the dribble and hit an open J? Waiters was a heck of a player but his jump shot was a streaky shooter that was an athletes type shot, I just get the feeling this kid is much the same. I guess I'm just hesitant to get into the hype because I seen many penetraters in high school develop bad habits because they can get away with it at that level and once they get to those college kids that can move and block...their main game is gone and they are left with an average to below average J.
Briscoe won't be attending Elite camp. Apparantly hurt his hip recently.
“@TheAlexKline: @_Boogie11 when are you coming up here this week”im not coming nomore i gotta get xrays on my hip
Visiing uconn friday...dont get your hopes up huskies
The kids wants to pop for SU asap and would've already. Parents on the other hand wants him to do his full due diligence before doing so. Like Ennis, it's more about when not if Briscoe commits to SU.
Wasnt this suppose to be a secret ; )
Adam Zagoria @AdamZagoria
2015 St. Benedict's G Isaiah Briscoe will take an unofficial Friday to #UConn, his dad told @SNYtv
Maybe it's a little premature to think this a done deal.
What with the age of the Jims, I'm not sure why any 2015 kid would commit in 2012. I know Cuse has a coach in waiting, but still...
Not even sure why a school would want a commitment this early. I realize Briscoe is very talented, but considering the kid can always change his mind until he signs, it hamstrings the school a bit. See Trey Lyles and Indiana.
when there is a coaching change can't you get out of any commitment?
Well at least him and Calhoun have something in common if Briscoe's getting hip x-rays...
