Marcus Kruger bangs in a rebound three and a half minutes short of two full games. Wow, what a game! :)

Blackhawk players were barely able to climb over the board to celebrate.

Yes, they were quite tired. They were outplayed for stretches, but they also outplayed Anaheim for stretches as well. The difference was in the physical contact. Chicago wisely stayed with their system and didn't get caught up in trying to match the Ducks hit for hit. Did you also notice during the OT's that the Ducks weren't throwing the body around like they did in the second and third periods? They spent as much energy as the 'Hawks did with ultimately less to show for it.

Vermette who's been brutal for the hawks since coming to them from Arizona, scores in 2OT to win it, That must feel good for the hawks fans, 2-2 is light years better than 3-1!

He's been getting slowly better. In Phoenix, he always had the puck and got the first shift on PP's, but it's quite a different situation in Chi-town. Tonight he was 70% at the dot. Good solid game from him overall, we needed that. :)

And the series goes to a seventh game, deservedly so. Both teams have given pretty much everything, and it's been a lot of fun to watch.

PS: Kesler was minus 2 tonight, Perry minus 3 ... :p I quite admire Getzlaff, Beauchemin and Cogliano, but I detest those other two a$$holes.
