no team is intimidated by any other team. Double digit teams may not win the NC but they can easily win one game vs a top four seed. Easily. I think it's great. Except of course when Cuse is involved.

The intimidation factor is a big difference but that is mainly due to the watered down talent level. It used to be that lesser teams upperclassman were competing against better teams much more talented upperclassmen. Now they are playing against their more talented freshmen and underclassmen. While the big programs upperclassmen are rarely of the super talented variety.

Plus the 3 pt line is wayyyy too close in college, and all it takes is some 13/14 seed making a bunch to produce an upset. Not to mention the 35 sec shot clock either, which just encourages the 34 chuck offense.
