I was already about 50 years old culturally when I was born: my musical tastes tend toward classical, jazz and Tin pan Alley over Rock, country and rap. People ask my what my favorite band is and I tell them "the TJB". "The what?" "The Tijuana Brass". That's as hep as I get. ("What's hep?"). Grew up listening to the Tijuana Brass thanks to my Dad. He loved them and The Kingston Trio. Kingston Trio does my favorite version of The lion sleeps tonight and this gem. The Zombie Jamboree.
