Class of 2017 New Commit: Lucas Quinn (NY:Nisky) Mid

Notre Dame’s, Syracuse’s 2017 groups are impressive

Notre Dame had the most commits of any school on the ACC 2017 roster with eight, and players like Arden Cohen, Michael Drake, Connor Morin, John Ryan Hallenbeck, Jake Frane, and Matthew Schmidt were key contributors on a squad that won every game at the ILCA before falling in the championship.

Syracuse’s group also impressed. Owen Seebold had a fantastic tournament, finishing with seven goals. Jacob Walthour was a dangerous LSM in transition, finishing with two goals, while Lucas Quinn saved his best performance for the championship game, where he scored two goals and two assists in a loss to the Big East.

IL Epoch Committed Academy: Takeaways, Surprises and More

First Team

Lucas Quinn
School:
Niskayuna (Schenectady, N.Y.)
A multi-year impact player, Quinn is a silky smooth but powerful right-handed dodger who has an excellent set of hands and natural playmaking abilities. He’s helped Niskayuna continue its run as the team to beat in Albany, putting up 57 goals and 42 assists last season while drawing the opposition’s top defensive player.

Would be shocked if he isn't at least on the second mid line next year. One of those much needed offensive reinforcements for next year.

Nice interview. Talks a bit about the recruiting process with Desko & Co. as well as shooting/working out with Stephen Rehfuss over break.

3 great rips from Quinn in this game, he's a good shooter and uses many release points.

I was at this game. He did score a couple against subs late in the 4th and Columbia has a pole headed to Stony Brook who did a decent job on him. Columbia has a freshman who had 4 and 1 whose father went to SU.
