A member of Liam Banks LB3 Elite travel team!

What Nathan Solomon LB3 (Centennial, Ga.) lacks in size, he makes up for with cherished toughness, IQ and playmaking ability at X. He confidently threw skip passes on a rope and is aggressive but smart in the riding game. Definitely a complete player who has apparently recently made a commitment to an Ivy.

Philadelphia’s Mesa Fresh 2015 beat Georgia’s LB3 2015 in dramatic fashion in the final championship game of the inaugural event, taking their first and final lead after scoring three goals late in the contest to walk away with a draining, compelling 9-8 victory.

Star attackman Nathan Solomon (Centennial 2015/Syracuse) led LB3’s scoring effort with five points on three goals and two assists, working effectively as the team’s offensive catalyst. All three of his goals were scored in the first half.

This kid seems like a solid recruit, with a redshirt year here he could have a very productive career.

He had a great weekend! Sounds like a good player on a legit warm
LB3 doing a great job down in Atlanta, I also hear his brother Nicky played amazingly well at an older age group, think we should get him too!

That is great, but we need more kids like that big, football playing middie from Duke. Other teams have horses at middie. We need horses.

we need face off men and we will be fine.

Jones from Duke is a complete outlier and definitely not the norm. Guys with his size, speed, strength are usually playing bball or football. Those types of players are few and far between to be honest.

Absolutely true, but we've had guys like him before. The two Gaits for one. I can hear the outlier argument. So, look at it this way:

* I don't want to get all excited about guys like Thomas Grimm, only to see them get absolutely abused on defense, by Bryant, and seem really, really small on the field, against...Bryant.
* Our average middie in the past, but our 'norm' players, seemed bigger. They were not as big as the Gaits, but they were still in the 6'1 190 range. At least they seemed to be.

This year, our middies often looked smaller.

One of the kid's pictures said he was something like 5'8" 150 lbs. Guys succeeding at that size, at the DI level, are outliers as well.

He has a couple of years to go.

Fact is, as noted above, large athletes in the US normally stick with money sports--although, we got lucky with Mullins. And, big time athletes in Canada usually play hockey.

Not all horses finish the race with a horse shoe of roses draped over them or go to a stud farm.
