Class of 2015 New Commit: Tyson Bomberry (ON) LSM/D

The same old ? Academics/Academics/ Academics..... What's the outlook on Tarbell and Ferguson?

Tarbell is still at OCC but dropped out of team last year.

If Bomberry went to Avon he will be fine!

Can't help but compare Bomberry to Sid Smith. Even if he's half as good as SS he's a big time catch.

Congrats to Tyson

Tyson Bomberry named to American Family Insurance All-USA 2014-2015 Boys Lacrosse Second Team

Tyson Bomberry, Salisbury (Conn.)

Class: Senior

College: Syracuse

Bomberry was a defensive sparkplug for the Winged Beavers as they won both the Founders League and Western New England Conference titles. The multi-sport athlete, who hails from the Six Nations reserve in Ontario, is active with his stick and plays physical on-ball defense. Beyond his skills, Bomberry – who can also run long-stick midfield – hustled to make plays throughout the season as Avon was tied for the second best overall defense in New England in allowing only 6.9 goals per game.

4. Tyson Bomberry, D/LSM, Avon Old Farms (Conn.)/Syracuse - North Team

Bomberry is such a unique athlete; it would be easy to confuse him for a fullback prospect the way he powers his way up the field. High-level stickwork just adds to his game. Took one shot, scooped three groundballs and was active early.

I knew a Cam Bomberry who was a monster attack at Nazareth College back in the day. Big dude, great guy too

Ty Bomberry, Syracuse D/LSM
Bomberry is the latest Six Nations sensation to make his way to Syracuse, a legacy that includes similarly gifted long poles like Marshall Abrams and Sid Smith. Defense has become the Orange's strong suit in recent years. Bomberry could slip into the starting rotation to replace Sean Young on close defense or see regular time up top as a long-stick midfielder. He tallied four assists and 30 ground balls as a senior at Avon Old Farms (Conn.).
