NY needs to shutdown Tanaka for this year entirely

He i hurting again and heading back to NY. The Yanks are pretty much out of the playoffs AGAIN ,so pushing this huge investment is stupid. He isn't going to help them this year. If they are VERY LUCKY they might get him back next year but I would prepare the team to go without him. Anything else would be the biggest mistake made in the last few years among many others.

Correct. Regardless prepare the next season without him in the rotation.It not that much of a stretch even if they expand the rotation to a six man string.
