Really happy to see this all come together. A coaching staff can do a lot with a kid who is freak athlete, a hard worker and has a good head on his shoulders. I would say the absolute floor is 4 year impact player on specials (and even that is great), but with the type of worker he is and the drive he has, I EXPECT 3-4 year starter .

Your son is a class act and a lot of other kids out there could take lessons from him. Fantastic news and congratulations!

Shy won't even have to try and become a fan favorite. By being around the board, Bam has already turned all of us into fans, and when those of us lucky enough to go to games can go to games, we will go nuts every time Shy makes a play, and that enthusiasm will transfer to the rest of the crowd without a problem.

Hey Bam, I'm curious. Syracuse hasn't really recruited Mass much in the last few years and we don't currently have staff with ties to Mass (at least known ties) so how did they discover, or how did they come to know and start recruiting Shy?
