Too bad we don't get to go to Schoellkoph anymore. A great venue for a game and a wild party weekend. As I recall Jim Brown got on the field and in a game there for the first time. Interesting to think that in a a couple of years most of the players in the film would be involved in a much bigger battle.

Mondo cool.

That game was revenge for Cornell for the famous 1938 game where Wilmeth Sadat-Singh led SU to a dramatic comeback victory that has been discussed on this board many times in the past.

Funny that the 1940 game lists Ohio vs Cornell. It is actually tOSU vs Cornell. Huge difference.

I enjoyed watching the old film...it actually improved in quality a few mins into it.
