Now, all knew that at some point Phil Hughes would show up big against the Yanks but that was yesterday. Today we get a run from A-Hole. As far as the PED guy is concerned he has played far better than anyone could have expected or predicted. Considering what the team is shelling out for this guy in payroll ,he is merely sufficient.

I have no idea how long he has in his contract but you all know he will milk this out for the last dime. The problem that Giardi must face and shake from this team NOW is complacency. Its not late September when the deciding games become obvious . At this time the other "contenders in the eastern division are losing as well as the Yankees. If CC isn't cutting it bring up Severino and give hime a chance. If he succeeds he is showcased for a monster trade in the off season. If he fails send him down for more coaching and evaluation by the teams' scouts .
