Look at this...

They will be 6-0 heading into OSU, having barely played anybody, and I include Rutgers in that. I would seriously switch schedules with them right now. This is how ours should look every year. Try and get to 5-0 or 4-1 right off the bat. Ugh.

Holy crap, 5 home games in a row!?

they may have 2 losses all season, though I wouldn't sleep on San Diego St.

I hate Ped State, but you have to bear in mind that when this years schedule was set they were expecting to still be under sanction.

Just wait until UB brings the hurt on the Nittany Pedo's

Rutgers schedules this way too. I sure wish we would.

Switch out LSU for San Diego State and we're practically there in terms of SoS. You just need a bit more of a regional flavor. Add a dash of Army, UMass, UConn, Buffalo, etc. and Bob's your Uncle.

You might have that much faith in Franklin but his record might say otherwise between PSU and Vandy. I don't

On the day he was introduced as new AD, Coyle indicated that he would schedule in a way that is advantageous for football success. Gross never got it.

I continue to believe that Gross was pitching both the ACC and B1G for membership and was scheduling these teams to help build connections with league leadership. Rutgers did the opposite approach and still ended up in the B1G...so perhaps it was unnecessary. Can't fault him at the time. I also think that our fanbase enjoys it when a big name comes to town so we have LSU. Otherwise this schedule seems to be set up for success. Very similar to the schedule we played during the Texas Bowl year.

rutgers had them beat last year, and i believe they will beat them this year---franklin overated as a coach, flood underated as a coach, and has very good staff
