OT: SU FH advances to NCAA title game

Congrats to the ladies! SU wins 3-2 over UNC after winning on penalty shots 4-3 in 6 shots (sudden death after 5 shots each). This is the first-ever title game for SU FH.

They play the winner of UConn/Albany on Sunday at 1 PM.

Just saw this on Twitter coming home from the victory celebration at Blarney---can't say that I have ever watched a Field Hockey game in my life, but to see we are in the National Championship, just wow. Great night overall. May get around to posting a NYC weekend hoop recap later or tomorrow but haven't seen the Mrs in a couple of days... (reminds me of the good ole Big East Tourney days...)
