8. SyracuseThe Orange have won 30 of the 33 meetings with Hobart since the trophy was first awarded in 1986. The quick turnaround on Tuesday was no big deal; an 11-4 victory was highlighted by a five-point night from Stephen Rehfuss. Otto was able to play 39 guys.

SU (6-3) has found a defense but has a negative groundball margin after nine games. Their RPI is stellar. #HHH is at Cornell on Tuesday, April 10, at 7 p.m. on the Ivy League Digital Network. The Nick Mellen vs. Jeff Teat matchup will be epic. Mellen is the best on-ball cover man I've seen this year, but has moments off the ball that defy explanation. Teat is a real freak.

Dating back to 1916, Syracuse has had four head coaches in program history: Laurie Cox, Roy Simmons Sr., Roy Simmons Jr. and now John Desko. The 11-time champions have appeared at Championship Weekend once since 2009 (falling to Duke in the 2013 title game).

Orange host North Carolina on Saturday at 4 p.m. on ESPNU. I'll have the call with 2004 Newhouse alum Anish Shroff.
