Updates for today.

Frank Howard vs Harry Giles. Howard scored 15pts, 6ast, and 3rbs for the win. Giles had 7pts and 4rbs in defeat.

Jamal Murray vs Moustapha Diagne. Diagne had a double double with 17pts and 12rbs in the win. Murray led his team with 16pts and 5rbs in defeat.

Malachi Richardson scores 11pts and 3rbs in a win.

Hey Tee, I guess our boy Bryant is really the heart n soul of Team Scan. He missed their game this morning due to a stomach virus and Team Scan ended up getting smoked.

Team Scan(Bryant, Battle, Yakwe) vs Boo Williams at 6pm. Bryant might miss this game if he's still dealing with the stomach virus. Which means Kassoum Yakwe will probably take his place and get more minutes. Boo Williams has 2016 top 20 big man Bam Bam Adebayo and a high rising wing name Chris Clarke, who has received some interest from SU. Should be another good game.

At this point I would have to think Ohio St has to be the early front runner, but I have no inside knowledge. I also assume that Kentucky will be a player here.
Ohio St was indeed considered the frontrunner in the early goings, but with this move I expect things to be more open. He's originally from North Carolina and only lived in Akron for 2 years. So it's not like he has strong lifelong roots there.

Harry Giles ends his night with a big game leading the way with 24pts, and 10rbs in a win.

http://www.statva.com/yahoo_site_admin/assets/docs/SC14C310.198162528.pdf
You see Tee, Thomas Bryant returns from morning illness and guess what he produces a double double effort scoring 13pts and 10rbs and Team Scan wins. Tyus Battle led all scorers with 17pts.
That squad oozes talent and they still need his services to get it done. Beyond studly.

Frank Howard vs Jamal Murray. Howard led the way with 17pts, 3rbs, and 2ast in the win. Murray led his squad with 18pts, 6rbs, and 2ast in defeat.

Like I was saying from last week, our boy Frank is back. Putting up really solid numbers against top competition during the live period so far. I'm going to start a "Please offer Jamal Murray asap" campaign soon if the staff keeps playing around lol.

Day four updates.

Peach Jam scores from earlier today as the quarterfinals begin tonight.

Frank Howard ends his last game at the Peach Jam scoring a team high 16pts, 3rbs, and 3ast in a loss.

http://www.statva.com/yahoo_site_admin/assets/docs/SC14C114.19985505.pdf
Murray vs Giles. Giles in limited minutes scored 9pts in the victory. Murray finished his Peach Jam week scoring 12pts and 6rbs in the loss.

http://www.statva.com/yahoo_site_admin/assets/docs/SC14C115.199103820.pdf
Moustapha Diagne scores 10pts, 7rbs, and 2blks in an OT defeat.

http://www.statva.com/yahoo_site_admin/assets/docs/SC14C215.199105229.pdf
Malachi Richardson ends his week at the Peach Jam scoring 14pts in a loss.

http://www.statva.com/yahoo_site_admin/assets/docs/SC14C315.199105309.pdf
Thomas Bryant leads Team Scan to the quarterfinals with another double double scoring 17pts, 12rbs, and 2blks in a win. Tyus Battle chipped in with 11pts.

Remember one of the ESPN stations will broadcast the semi's and finals live tomorrow. Team Scan(Bryant and Battle) and NJ Playaz(Diagne) are the notable teams still alive. I'll check to see if any of the games for the quarters will be streamed live tonight.

Very nice and much thanks. All over that Bryant-Battle-Diagne game if I can. Either way, tough assignment for the Mini Moose to contend with the twin towers of TB-Cheick but if anyone is up for it, he's our guy. Already proven he is among the elite.

That's the stream for Team Scan(Bryant and Battle) quarterfinal game tonight at 7pm against Houston Hoops. Hoops have 2017 wing Jarred Vanderbilt jersey #22, who claims he's very interested in SU. Tee you probably misunderstood, never said Bryant and Diagne were going up against one another next, just that both teams are still alive in the quarterfinals now. Only way they'll meet is if they're in the finals. Which could be tough because Diagne could have a rematch against Ivan Rabb's team in the semi's and Bryant's crew would have to deal with #1 rank player Ben Simmons team. Should be fun if those matchups do go down.

Dang. Or just I say Diagne haha. Cause that could be a fun match up but like you said, maybe in the finals.

Just catching the Team Scan game. TB got to the line early, close game. Houston another tough team. Bryant again starting up in the high post. He did just get stripped one play, but drew another foul a little while after. A little jittery right now, but he's demanding attention, creating openings on the perimeter. He's turned it over at least twice but teammates are making plays now, both Battle and Diallo.

Aiken just drilled one from deep, coming up a little curl. Now Diallo gets stripped. Pesky hands, Houston guards doing a great job of collapsing on the post players. TB checked out.

Yakwe in. Very quiet. Didn't contest a shot there but his man sealed him off well. Not sure what we'd get out of Yakwe. Might be too early to tell, but he doesn't assert himself enough on either end. He just got burned again by a shot fake, but he just converted on the other end. Tough to tell with him.

Scan has a 3 point lead at the half. Guards looking decent, Diallo had a couple of nice plays. TB is a little off his game today, but most of the team is sloppier than the previous games. Credit to Houston guards and quick hands to force turnovers and transition points.
