Side note. Mr. Ed was a character from the Freddy the Pig stories written by Walter Brooks from Rome, New York. The stories take place on the Bean Farm in upstate New York.

RIP Alan. I loved Mister Ed and still try to catch it on Antenna TV when I'm getting ready for work in the morning. Some people like their comedy sophisticated, but I just like to laugh and there's not much funnier than a guy talking to his sarcastic, troublemaker horse in my book.

I was surprised to hear this news. I thought he had passed away long ago. Playing second fiddle to a horse who was moving his mouth to get the peanut butter his mouth cavity must have been difficult for him.Solong Wilbur RIP.
