Both Rose and Phil hit the 12th green about 20-25 feet to the left of the pin on Sunday, so I assume they were playing it safe. Why? Second place doesn't mean that much to either guy. Why aren't they going for the pin and trying to win? Reminds me alot of Marrone and Shafer punting at the 50 on 4th and 3, behind 10 pts, with 5 minutes left.
