Do networks have a rule that Juileanne Hough and Ne-yo get to sing on every show, and that no other person in the known world can host a show other than Ryan Seacrest?

did anyone watch it.. i would have had i seen this day earlier just to see what they showed.

I stumbled upon it. Most of the songs, now nearing 50 years old, were ‘re-imagined’ by people I did not recognize. Newer, hipper, less talented people.

It served to show how great the people were that wrote and recorded those songs so long ago.

The highlight for me (and I only saw the second half) was a cover of ‘Conjunction Junction’ that featured original singer Jack Shelton (the original singer). His voice is so distinctive, his phrasing so perfect, it is hard to imagine anyone else matching him. I think I found that video, so if you are a fan of Jack (he also memorably sang ‘I’m Just a Bill’), you might want to check this video out.
